Vampires Rock KTM Motul Racing Team Vampires Rock KTM Motul Racing Team Vampires Rock KTM Motul Racing TeamWell it’s been a busy week for the team over the last three weeks. First up was the Off Road Motor Sport Nationals second round at the Sherwood.  Weather was great and the track conditions perfect. First up was the Junior 65s with Ozzie on top form taking a 4th in race one and then two 3rd places in race two and three. Day two Ozzie took three second places and his first holeshot in race three so a great weekend for the youngster of the team. Ozz took to the podium with a well deserved second overall.
In the Big Wheel class Jordan also rode superbly with some great top ten finishes.  Jordan also rode great and came home 4th overall over the weekend and is now lying in a superb 3rd overall in the championship standings.

Next up came the British Youth Nationals at Fat Cats Moto Parc. With full start gates in all classes this was going to be fast and furious. First up was the juniors with Jack and Ozzie up against the best of the best from England, Wales and riders crossing the waters from Ireland to compete is what is the premier ACU championships.  Jack came out flying from the gate and took the first moto win and Jacks first ever win in a National competition. Ozzie didn’t fare so well off the gate and came fighting back through the big field of riders into the top 20. Jack rode superbly all weekend and finished on the podium in a great third overall. Ozzie also rode very well but with some bad starts and one DNF after a bad crash he still managed to fall just outside the top twenty and lies 24th overall.  Next up came Jordan on the big wheel 85. This class has got to be the fastest class and most spectacular to watch. Jordan rode strong and fast all weekend finishing in the top twenty in every race. Jordan also didn’t get the starts he wanted but came through the field with some impressive riding. Jordan now lies in a well deserved 18th overall.

GT Cup was the next National at Warmington. Weather was good and the track was going to be tough and demanding especially for the little bikes. Jack and Ozzie took to the track first with Jack getting off to a great start to the weekend finishing second overall on day one. Ozzie had technical problems and pulled out of the weekends racing. Jack also had problems on day two so both the little riders bowed out of the overall standings. Next up was Jordan on the BW 85 who managed to put some good consistent rides in. Finishing in a good fifteenth overall over the weekend and now lying in twelfth in the championships, Jordan has his sights set on the top ten.

I would just like to thank the boys for the hard work and positive performances over the last three weeks. “It’s been a really tough few weeks” said Steve, team boss “and the boys have handled the pressure great.” I would also like to thank all our sponsors who help make this happen.
