Two very busy weeks for the Vampires Rock KTM team with two nationals in concession.
First up was the GT Cup at the superb Pontrillas track in South Wales. Conditions were perfect with the rain just keeping off so making for a great weekend. First up came the Autos and Harvey Cashmore turning on the power for a great podium finish taking second overall. Harvey now has a comfortable lead over third place in the overall standing and he’s now looking forward to the next round to try and close the gap on the leader.
Jack Grayshon and Ozzie Murray rode hard and fast all weekend in the 65s, Jack coming out with a ninth overall and is now looking good in fifth in the overall championship standings. Ozzie has some way to go but he is still pushing his way forward in the top 20 and improving week by week.
In the SW 85 class Jordan Hearn kept in the points keeping his championship alive and has placed eighth overall in the series standings.
The Red Bull Pro Nationals 3rd round moved to Cullham for what was the hottest weekend of the year so far. The track was rough and hard for the youngsters but they all rode superbly.
Jack Grayshon and Ozzie Murray were up first in the 65s and both lads rode very well on this deep rough track. Jack managed to finish in the top 20 and Ozzie just outside top 30 but with a line up of 46 the competing was of the highest standard.
Jordan Hearn on the SW 85 was dogged by problems all weekend but credit to him pushed hard and still finished in the top 20.
Star of the day was Scooter Webster who looked set to win in the 125 class but in motto three with a clear lead made a mistake and went down at the bottom of one of the many drop offs. Scooter managed to salvage a few points and still came out with a podium finish with a third overall. He now lies fourth overall in the championship standings and he has his eye clearly set on the title.
